Information was interesting but not the "how to do" that I wanted. I have more general knowledge on the subject but still don't know how to do things and move around in the device and that's what I wanted.
If you are looking to learn how to use and get the most out of your new Fire HD tablet, then this book is definitely a must read!

A self-published book by someone who doesn't know how to proof-read. Outrageously expensive for just a handful of pages. I feel I got taken with this purchase and will be buying the "For Dummies" book which I hope I'll be able to understand better.
This book was totally worthless to me. I need help trying to figure out how to do things. This book tells you what is in this kindle, but not how to find and do it. Sent it back today. Love .
I have found this work very helpful in learning to use my new tablet. It really starts with basics, which is what users like me need, and then goes on to much more advanced uses and applications. It is clearly written and cross-referenced so far; as an inexperienced user, I have not covered the entire manual and probably won't ever. As a reference, though, it is extremely useful.
I just bought my first tablet and wanted to learn how-to use it. This book is very short and discussed the basic capabilities of the tablet. For instance, it says you can download various apps but not one word about how-to actually accomplish doing it. The book is basically an ad for Fire HE 8!
I was shocked to find this so called "book" in my package when it arrived. It's all of 44 pages and contains nothing but a basic outline of the features for the Fire HD 8 (which can be found online). As another reviewer said, it's more like a promotional brochure. It contains some pretty lame suggestions. As an example, under the section titled "The Box", it suggested I keep the box it arrived in to store my table when not in use! This from a "book" that's subtitled "The Complete Beginner to Expert Guide". I sent it back to yesterday and a full refund (including the shipping) came through today ( you rock!). Pretty much everything in this "book" can be found online. Don't waste your money; but a real book.
